        Can anyone help?

I have an IMO inverter, trying to set the jog frequency to 5Hz. The problem I have is that the minimum run frequency also appears to be the minimum jog frequency. I would prefer the run frequency range to be from 30 to 70 Hz but 30 Hz is a bit fast for jogging. I have used other inverters where these settings are independent, are they linked on these or am I missing something?

AO2and AO3 set the frequency limits, upper and lower respectively….the defaults are 50 and 0.

B44 is the jog frequency selection( default is 5.0Hz ) but you need to enable it by setting A12 to 001 and then setting the B44 value to whatever you want…and if I remember correctly, the jog signal input is one of the S1-4 terminals which need configuring too…..B35 set to 005, so your jog push button goes between say S1 and Common….

Terminal 6 – S3 input – is the default jog terminal, parameter b37 is factory set to 005 (jog frequency command).

If using the normal remote "pod" then S1 will be used as Fwd rotation, S2 as Rev rotation.

If you need the manual you can download one from Drives Direct  – http://www.drivesdirect.co.uk/Downloads/idrive%20edx_manual_v5.pdf

Hello John, thank you. I did all that. I am using remote controls (start/stop/fwd/jog/rev/speed pot). Variable speed works OK, limits set by A02 & A03. A03 sets the lower limit, B44 then only give me choices within those limits. On other inverters I have used, the jog frequency is independent of the pot controlled motor run frequency. Does not appear to be so with this, it seems that if I want 5Hz jog then the minimum motor run frequency also needs to be 5Hz.

Thanks Robbo, I have the manual and do not have a problem with the terminals or parameter programming. Like so many manuals, it leaves much to be discovered.

I have it all working but I want a 5Hz jog and variable speed between 30-70Hz
