      hi all i got these taps in a tobacco tin for a £2.00 at a boot sale any idea of what they was for> i have a full set of BA taps and some others and they have the WW2 arrow stamp on them.

      i have looked for wire taps and ring taps but no luck

            But the WD arrow mark was in use for over 100 years (I think) not just WW2. This could be even extended further as items having the mark were often sealed brand new for quite a few decades in storage before being released.

            But they do have a reputation for being top quality items though. yes
