      How do you keep all the muck out of locomotive bearings?

      One area of concern for me is the gap between axle box and oil feed particularly in the area of the fire box, any bit of grit could either get into the bearing or block the little holes that form the oil feeds.

          I could say "put it in a glass case", but that's no help, I think little brushes to clean up after a run, some one who knows will have a better idea.
