Credit where it's due. On Monday I ordered some items from the latest Advantage catalogue of MSC Industrial Supply Company (was J&L). On Tuesday morning, by which time the goods had been despatched, I remembered that the courier they use is on my blacklist – after a very bad experience, I wouldn't normally have them within a hundred yards of my front door and previously I'd asked MSC to use a different courier. MSC Customer Service immediately took it on as their problem – most suppliers will dump tracking on to the customer in my experience. They offered to track the package in detail and to keep me informed, even to the time of expected delivery. They kept their promise to the letter. First-class service. Oh, and the blacklisted courier actually delivered on time.
No connection at all with MSC except as a very satisfied customer over many years.
