Hi. I have just purchased a part completed Worden tool & cutter grinder.This is a early (original) model with the table pivoted at the back edge i.e. close to the work head. Has any one got a set of plans they no longer need, original, photocopy or scans. All costs covered. Regards Ian

Might be worth contacting Cornish Jack, he talks about a Mk1 Worden in this thread

I have a Mk3 and also a 'spare' set of drawings PM me if you want them.

I don't understand why the table pivot point was moved from front to back, I have often thought of making a new table and reverting to a front pivot as, with the rear pivot, the wheel is moved off center as the table angle changes.

I haven't bothered yet as I am busy building a Quorn

I made my own grinder's table with the pivot at the front. There is still plenty of vertical movement, as the only point where there is none is when the work is directly above the pivot.
