Bit late but you wont get it with a power feed attached in any shape.
I have the Chester supplied Zay in 2004 even with an extended lead screw and proper power feed on right you will only achieve 547.58mm. Originally got think it was 585mm.
Could increase travel highly not recommended as is bed deflects visably150mm either side of central due to bed sagging because thickness of top slide is thin. I would also argue the foot print top slides mounted off is on the narrow side for bed length.
Only option bigger mill £5k+ or Bridgeport.
Issues are parts its Chinese could be waiting many many months and stung big time. ie transfer box (the bit in between motor and vertical slides for powered head £244, whole mill £930.
Lead screws could adapt decent ones, they wont last my vertical has over two revs backlash and X around 1 1/2 revs surprised it still works.
Motor noise fine its not over powering but lacks speed above 1250rpm. US modded ones have decent bearings fitted to allow faster speeds at a price!
Worst problem is the quill after years of service the bores oval. No load and no lock on centred then put quill lock on throws to the back 0.46mm even with a bodge job drilling around quill casting putting pins in.
Diy should last about 10 years anything more look for British or another quality item. Semi pro ok for 3 years as long as no accuracy needed.
