      Hi, can anyone remember which date in Model engineer the article on making bases for stationary  models was printed, a really good article, imitation bricks etc, think it was by Neil or one of the regular contributors, [to save me going through my copies.] thanks .

          Thank you for the reply Jason, excellent work from you [AS ALWAYS!] usefull info there

          I always enjoy your builds., the actual article was by one of the mods/contributors as I remember. showing various different designs for bases, if no luck I’ll be going in the loft for half a day thumbing through back issues.

            Pretty sure I know the article you mean but not a clue where to find it. Worth trying the indexes but I have to admit my search-function isn’t that good with the ME / MEW ones. User problem not index problem.

                Neil probably did it on his Nordene engine and if a separate article would have used some of that as an example.
