Gaskets an piston

A couple of bits of info please,small steam chest gaskets can you use auto gasket paper or have l got to wait an order some other type ,and l remember reading a post a while ago that you can use ptf tape for the packing glands and also the piston ? l take it you roll it and make a rope out of it,l know you can get the yarn type but again have none

Gasket paper will be fine.

Yes roll the PTFE into a string and then wind around the rod as you poke it down into the gland space.

Thanks jason ,will give it ago on the piston as well,if it dont work will have to order some yarn
