Hi, I'm wondering about building a road roller using one of Engineer's Emporium petrol engine kits. Either the Red Wing or the Economy. They say someone did build one in 3 inch scale but no longer have contact with the person. Does anyone know of it please?

You could just build the DX roller that they do in 2" or up the scale to 3", the crankcase would be easy enough to fabricate and none of the other castings are that complex.

A sealed waterjacket would be better than open hopper cooled which is what you woudl have with teh Economy or Redwing (WC) and the aircooled would not see much air movement unless you added fans.

Thanks Jason, I've got ETW's book and it's got a drawing of the engine in it but no detail.
