Does anybody recognise this pump? I don’t see how it could ever be practical, as the valve block is a push fit into the cylinder (presumably Loctited), so any pressure would tend to push it out. I was given it, and have no idea of its provenance.

ID, no idea but soft soldering would work for all but the very highest of boiler pressures – funny how people now go straight for the loctite. It’s a common design and even silver soldering the T piece in would be fine as the valves are screwed in after soldering and the piston rod goes in from the other end. Noel.
