Please can somebody let me know where there is a guide to sharpen the Flycutter inserts.

Just bought a set of three and need to sharpen them to use on brass and aluminum

Try reading this thread, I sharpen mine the way Bogstandard shows and it works fine.

NIce one Bogs. but read to the end first to find out where 'top' is else it gets very confusing.

Thank you very much for the information. I will grind an insert up and try it.

I have even found where I saw the use of a digital tyre gauge for measuring on a lathe. I knew I had seen it somewhere so I bought the tyre gauge and then coulkd not find the article.
