Hi MichaelG, thy are the cards my first digital camera required, which from what i can remember, were a bit pricy then compared with todays prices. I only have three, one each of, 16MB, 64MB and 128MB the latter still has space for 16 HQ photos. The camera is a Olympus C-3020 ZOOM. A good starter digital camera but I don't use it much now, although it does still work, but the inside of the front lens has some very fine strands of fungus on it but doesn't notice on any photo and it's probably not worth what it would cost to have it cleaned.

P.S. still got the box the camera came in and on the contents list it included the 16MB card.

I still have my first digital cameras – Minoltas, the first one having the lens detachable as a block and connectable via a 3' cable – clever idea which was never developed. Digital cameras are probably one of the more extreme examples of price drop versus performance increase.

Well if you have equipment that needs it and there is no alternative – I have a Fostex 8 Track recorder that will only save onto small CF cards and without these it is useless. I have tried to use a CF/ Microl SD adaptor but it is hit and miss as to whether a partiucular card will work in it.

I remember my first floppy disk drive that I bought for my Altair in the mid-late 70's that cost me just short of $1000 (mid 70's dollars) when they first came out. Disk(ettes) were $20 -25 each as I recall.

Must have been mad …. or single …. or both.
