      Hello Everyone.

New here so I’m still finding my feet.

Bought a Black 5 locomotive in 3 1/2 gauge that is missing some parts and need a little help in finding the parts or a skilled person to make the parts.

it appears to be missing a front brake pipe fitting (see photo).

And the loco lamps all 10 of them.

any one knowledgeable on this engine to help me out.

      thanks.8605024e-8f11-4f48-b6e3-3531f7328114.jpeg

Do you need 10 loco. lamps? Even the Queen only gets 4.smiley

              Hello Chaps

              Thanks for the quick response.
RE loco lamps, I simply counted all the lamp mounting brackets and presumed that they all needed lamps, I should lower my head in shame for not knowing such things.blush

Any chance of posting some more photos of the Black Five?

Certainly Greensands. I have created an album.

It looks as though from the photo, you're only missing the vacuum pipe and front coupling. The vacuum stand and pipe are easily made. I couldn't find any commercial ones when I looked a while ago, and you can buy the correct coupling from Bruce Engineering (maybe others as well). The rear coupling has been made for connecting a trolley so you don't need a scale one, unless you're only displaying the model.

As said before, you only need four lamps and these are available commercially. Look up head codes on the internet and you'll see where they go.

                    Hope that helps
