For some reason I can not access bolt hole function on my model GCS900-2DB DRO. I am receiving message of data error when I switch to bolt hole circle. All other functions operate as they should. Any help would be appreciated .

Not familiar with that brand but many of the affordable, imported, DRO systems will only do the bolt hole function when set to metric units. Certainly the case with my Sino box. Also applies to some of the other more advaced functions.

I get the impression that all the lower end DRO boxes have the same functions so yours may well use thes ame software program as mine.
