Hi all.
Bought a Darex end mill sharpener that needs a little work.
It’s missing the stylus assembly that supports the flutes so that they follow the grind wheel. It has an air bearing spindle which allows low friction movement of the tool being ground. Should be a useful tool for the shop. Does anyone use one in their work?

Darex are still in business and doing spares for the E90.
Managed to order replacement parts for the flute support so i can have it up and running soon.

It has an air drier in line so things while be ok. The bearing shaft is a bit scoured but still runs smoothly. A new one was ?450 so I will persevere with the one I have.
The follow stylus is carbide and ?70 so I’m making my own as you said.
The handbook says an hour of practice will have an operator to a good level.of skill,did you find it easy to use?
I’m hoping to be able to tidy up my cutters before they get damaged rather than try to resharpen a cutter that’s closed.
