hey everybody, new to the site, my name is peter dixon i am 24 yrs old from ryton, gateshead.

my grandad recently passed away and i have inherited a shed full of equipment/materials/projects. is there anyone on here from the north east? i havnt got anywhere to store any of this stuff and would prefer to see interest in it from the model engineer community than to have it all scrapped. i know my grandad would hate to have seen it scrapped.

i look forward to hearing from you guys

Quite a scattering of us based in the NE I think (Tesside in my case).

Your best bet is probably to put something in the for sale ads on this site.

Hi Peter. Sorry to hear of your loss, there is a model engineering club on Tyneside which has a large track in Exibition Park Newcastle, you could get in touch with them, here is a link to their Website Here

                Peter,

Contact your nearest model engineering club for advice. They will help you value things and make proper descriptions for selling in return for being given the small stuff for their club finds. In the meantime spray everything with oil, Just because it is summer it doesn't mean things can't rust. WD40 is only good for a few weeks but is better than nothing.
