Classy work, as always, David
A few notes on feeds & speeds would be helpful.
MichaelG.
I cut the Delrin at 450 rpm and just cut with one cut in to depth by hand a slow feed. The smaller gear was wound in length whilst the full depth on centre line 13mm length and reverse as the gear was not cut full length.
David
Picture of original gears.
Thanks for the useful notes, David
Very clean looking gears nice work!
They turned out nice!
Whilst on Holiday in Jersey I received this picture of gears assembled in the mechanism.
No problems. No backlash
Job done and thanks for help with cutter selection.
