Cones for union nuts

I'm hoping that someone will know this. I have looked everywhere and can't find a sensible answer.

What is the inclusive angle for tapered part of the cone for union nuts and is this the same across all sizes?

Hoping you can help.

Hi Deric ,

There is no actual standard but many model engineering applications use 60 degrees inclusive – the same as a centre drill .

90 degrees inclusive would actually be a better choice but is seldom used .
