Can anyone out there assist me in locating an M20x1 full nut? I have tried googling to no good result. Thanking you in anticipation.

          Hello Mick,

Try local agricultural engineers and structural steel fabricators or suppliers of that sort, I had stuff that size some years ago from farm sales but it went in a clear out.

Sorry if I am pointing out what you already know but Metric Fine is 20×1.5 rather than 20×1

Thanks for the interest but M20 x 1 is definitely the size that I require.

Full nuts may be hard to find as its an electrical conduit size and they usually just have thin locknuts.

Tracy's sell the right size tap or screwcut in the lathe

                  I thought electrical conduit was 20 x 1.5 Jason ?

                  OP want's 20 x 1 I don't have any but I'll see if I have a tap and if so I can knock you a couple up.

have to be later just off out now.

Had a look on google, Maryland Metrics Thread Data Charts: Extended thread size range (ISO)

                    20 mm 2.5, 2, 1.5, 1, 0.75, 0.5

                    Ordenary range:

                    20mm 2, 1.5, 1

Seems like plenty of choice, didn't realise there was so much, the extended range chart goes from 0.25 mm, to 600 mm. Ian S C

Small Hatz diesel engines used M20 x 1 nuts. Maybe check your local phone listings for a Hatz dealer – they may have a few nuts in stock.

                        JS – electrical conduit is usually M20 x 1 nowadays, not M20 x 1.5.
