Hi all, long time CNC enthusiast, own a few machines, Harrison M300 CNC conversion, Thor (concrete CNC mill, DIY job), smaller S&B South Bend 9 copy …..
Always looking for more stuff.
Welcome to the forum Charl,
I'm sure we would all like to know more about your homebrew kit!
Neil
My build thread for Thor.

Roughly 2 tons of concrete, 6.8KW HSD spindle.
This is an early test cut just after I installed the spindle. Need to do a bit more tidying on the machine, will use it in a bit more anger now.
Some pics of the build and others here:-
The Harrison M300 I have done with Centroid Acorn including ATC, almost complete.

This is whilst it was being built.
Are you sure that reference angle plate was big enough for the job?
Biggest I have, sadly
Didnt cover the full length but it was the largest I could get realistically.
