Hi Everyone, Can some one give me advice on "one size smaller" nuts and "half size" nuts, I need to order a few BA sizes and see from the supplier that these nuts are available. Many thanks

          Hi Alan

Kennion's do one size smaller BA nuts and set screws, basically it's a set screw of one size with the head of next size lower

For example the screw would say be 2BA but it has the head of a 3BA.. Half nuts are basically a nut which is half the width of a standard nut. They are very good for lock nuts as the come together when tightened and appear the same size as a standard nut.

Thanks Peter, I see what it means, many thanks, handy for small spaces and where height was limited.

The one size smaller nuts are useful on scale models where the standard nuts look out of scale.
