Free modelling material

Went out this morning and found an election poster board of paper backed foam proped against my front wall. Probably some teenagers thinking it was a laugh to put up a party sign that would not be expected in my street.

Anyway I got free material. Made me realise next time to nip out sharpish the day after or perhaps on bin day and see what's available.

That's if I'm still around in five years.

Some House for Sale signs are aluminium sheet – the plastic advert is difficult to get off, but use a heat gun set on low.
IKEA packaging is good if you are an artist. Use the 'Honeycomb' card to draw a plant, leaf etc then with a sharp scalpel , cut off the top layer of card revealing the honeycomb. Quite effective.
