It's been suggested that I share this with you all:
So its a solar power idea, so what?
Fine if you can overcome the fact that our road network is bathed in darkness for probably 50% of the time, not to mention wet, cloudy days & being covered by an ever increasing abundance of traffic jams!

All those illuminated road surfaces won't do your star gazing any good, just think of the light pollution.
Think of the noise – a continuous rumble strip…
