DRO for myford S7

Can anybody recommend a decent DRO for a Myford S7 with power cross feed.

Yes they do Steve above, PEEMS has got one fitted to the club lathe and I’m considering doing the same. A friend told me Warco do a suitable kit, and I’m going to pay visit and have a look at his set up. I’m short of space in my workshop and machine DRO read out is to big for me, no doubt there are smaller versions.John

Peter I fitted the Machine DRO version that has the cross slide sensor under the cross slide had it about 4 years now and very pleased with it. no doubt there are cheaper alternatives out there but frankly I preferred one supplied as a kit

Mines the EMS version which I buried in the saddle and crosslide, did it about 6 or 7 years ago and so far!!!!!!!!!!!

Another vote for the M-DRO kit. I’d be surprised if you can’t find room for the display – it takes up much less space than the lathe.

I also have the Machine_DRO setup on my Myford Super Seven.  Their latest display is a lot smaller than their earlier ones.  Does not take up a lot of space.
