Bevel gears

Can anyone please tell me the dims. of the governor bevel gears for the MJ Engineering 2″ Fowler road locomotive, or better still where I can buy a set to save making them.

Bought my A7 ones from MJ Engineering and I should think the new owners Bridport should be able to supply the road loco ones as they list “finish cast” items which is what mine were.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried Bridport but they were still trying to absorb MJ eng. stock etc.

I assumed they were bough in items and was trying to short out the middle man.

Alan used Bridport to do his casting so they would have been cast by them anyway. They ar enice castings needing almost no clean up of th eteeth just some facing and boring.

The other gears used to be cut by Malcom Frost after he retired from the M in MJ Eng, then Alan also took over his gear cutting machine but don’t know who is doing the gear cutting of those now.

I cut the drive train out of a mixture of castings and blanks supplied by M Machine, with little help of your readers.

, I am now interested in the governor bevels. Again thanks for your reply.
