Not sure how to broach this subject.

Some of the forum members have a vast knowledge of anything steam related & especially model steam engines & stationary models.

Some members seem to have a vast knowledge of Lathe related subjects & also milling machines.

In fact there seems to be members on here that have knowledge of most things , from home plumbing to joinery work. A few members are pretty savy on CNC work & CAD.

Even down to Neil + others that have a vast knowledge of the universe. Camera & telescope orientated. Which is brilliant.

I personally have a vast knowledge of petrol engines. It may be something that i was born with. Maybe it is just beefburgers disease. (asbergurs).

So if someone wanted to post a long essay on say what i know of on any particular subject. Is this possible in maybe a new TOPIC. It could be Ramblings or interesting topics. Even my journey in ??? Could a new TOPIC be created or is the forum locked to the topics shown.

      Steve.

I can’t give an authoritative answer, but think you might be best using :

          Related Hobbies

Many other hobbies go hand in hand with model engineering. Use this topic to discuss anything from astronomy to robotics.

Another candidate would be "vehicle restoration" as I assume your petrol engine knowledge is car based as opposed to model IC engines.
