      hi

      Im looking for some piston rings 1-3/16 dia

      width around 1/16, can anyone help

        They are not difficult to make, what little skill is needed comes in splitting them. I have a large number of US and UK made spark ignition engines which often need new rings.

          I also make them myself

          If you have not made the cylinder yet then 30mm rings are readily available on the net and only 6thou smaller.

                  At £2.80 a pair delivered, that is a lot less than the cost of a suitable piece of CI bar which means the “weed Whacker” ready made rings do have a lot going for them.

                  Though I tend to use Viton O rings in my IC engins these days.

                    lots of articles available on ring making/tempering etc.. The american ic mags have some interesting info. `i break mine first and gap later after tempering. Try to get SG bar.
