Hello I decided to buy one of their titles which I found in their printed catalogue, of a year or two back.

There no longer appears to be a website from which I can order said book. So are they still in business, or maybe they just want to make ordering difficult?

I am looking for a copy of Clockmaking for the Model Engineer by Colin Thorne. Tee used to sell it, but no longer and the few Horological sources that I have tried are out of stock. Ebay have a second hand copy at around £20 more than the last published price.

So do Special Interest Model Books still exist?

Still listed on Companies House but doing very modest trade so perhaps just selling off existing stock?

If I were you I’d buy the ebay copy, there may not be another.

I am afraid that is no longer so. The Colin Thorne website has been taken over by Ian T Cobb. The ordering page no longer works and a phone call elicited that they were out of stock.

The Workshop series is also a Special Interest line, does that mean the series is now under threat?
