Hi Keith, the Harleys were a little different, but thanks for the offer. I really appreciate it. I’ve found drawings for the cylinder, frame and tank. the cylinders have been modelled and I’m looking at how I’m going to scale and cast them. Its relatively easy to work out the rest of the bike from pictures and patents. Incidentally your bike looks amazing, that would be a lovely restoration project. I loved restoring my 1925 RE, had to cast and make most of the parts, but was loads of fun! I wasn’t very popular with the restorers here!
Thanks Byron, I’ll see if I can track down the book for a reasonable price! Unfortunately, from experience the information is very seldom more than what can be found on the ‘interweb’ or a good University portal (that’s normally where these authors get their info, that and if they’ve actually restored one, which is unlikely). These books don’t normally give GA’s, or part specific pictures etc.
