Some time ago I was given a very good conversion chart. Imperial to metric. Every size from 0 to 6". Also a handy reference formula. I have photographed it & zoomed in all the text is clear. Trouble is that it's in portrait. If everyone already has one no problem. But if not I can send it as a JPG. I will post them here but not sure how they will turn out as it is quite large. Sort of between A2 & A3. It is from Brooke cutting tools.

As I thought not clear on these pages. But the JPG is very clear. I have converted it just now to a PDF but this site will only allow JPG.

            Hi Steve,

Good idea, to get sharper JPG's you could upload your large JPG's to Dropbox (or something similar) and just post links to the larger JPG's. As you say the JPG's shown here isn't very sharp.

People have been complaining about this site only hosting jpgs for years, it's about time that was fixed!

Even more so now I can't see the software being changed any time soon, with MEW going to 5week publishing and I would imagine a big drop in sales from the casual buyer from the likes of WHSmiths there will be less income available for things like that. Could even see onsite adverts reduce as our suppliers also suffer a drop in sales, who would want to commit to a new mill or lathe at the moment?

Unfortunately I do not have any kind of drop box type thingy's. It's a shame as the chart is very good. That is why I mentioned I could e-mail anyone a copy. I could try doing it in quarters & posting it. But could anyone copy it from here.???

                  Steve.

Hopefully Thor will be posting a link for me. But just in case I will post the 4 quarter pics if anyone can make sense of them.

This too might be of use regarding various thread types. This information is from a now defunct website "Watchman" which fortunately has been archived on the Wayback Machine website. The original is a huge HTML table but also available as a spreadsheet. I have downloaded the spreadsheet and modified the layout slightly and made it available here for download along with a pdf version of the chart.

The download links are on my website *** Journeyman's Workshop *** spreadsheet or pdf format.

Many thanks to Thor for that. Once open it can be downloaded & saved. I just tried it.
