Just checked mine and yes, the immediate payment within 2 hours works 7days a week now. Also shows in the destination account (different bank/account) instantly. Saves waiting to check on next working day.

Today, Lloyds have processed two of my outstanding payments and it is showing on my account.

Did you fill up with petrol or spend at the garage?

As of recently these payments are now deducted straight away.

I think most (but not all) debit card payments are instant now. I can do transfers to my student daughter instantly at any time of day or night (alas!)
