Don't befooled by the generic 'art and craft' look of the home page:

Poke around a bit and find meccano-a-like, pop-pop boats (even spare hulls and engines), some really imaginative wooden/electric kits for kids (with a fair amount of finishing required for some).

A German company and the prices are generally remarkably good, with things that would make excellent presents for creative teenagers from less than £10 with build times suggested of up to around 10 hours.

I rather liked a wooden LED-eyed walking dinosaur robot for less than £20 – this was a pre-cut ply kit, ideal for younger teenagers wanting to make something that 'goes'.

They supply metal sheet and a few useful bits as well.

Interesting site, if unusual. First time I've seen a centre drill listed next to a barbecue. I rather like the steam engine kit at 32 Euros.
