I have used ARC Eurotrade many times, likewise my wife for presents.

She asked me to post here praising once again their excellent service.

If you can impress the good ladies of us ME types Ketan then you are doing everything right, thank you.

Present was a precision vice by the way.

I sent for something from Arc on a recent Sunday eve + it turned up Tues am. Not the first time I have ordered Sunday eve and goods arrived following Tues.

I think Ketan ought to be offering training sessions for one or two of our other suppliers!!

E.G., I ordered several items from one of the others, all except 1 item sent. Didn't notice straight away and it took some effort to obtain a refund for the item not supplied. Had to keep chasing him up and eventually gave him a deadline date, which worked. Came very close to my naming and shaming him on this forum.

Anyway, Ketan very well done and please keep up the good work, showing by good example how it should be done.

I can only second the sentiments expressed, Arc have had quite a bit of my money this year which I certainly don't begrudge them. The service and support have been excellent, and coupled with a desire to ensure I was completely satisfied to the extent of pointing me at another supplier for a particular item, makes dealing with them a pleasure. Well done all at Arc and a Happy Christmas from me.

While I admire the service of some advertisers, especially ARC frequently mentioned, isn't this a sad reflection on the others who fail in the customer satisfaction stakes?

Don't the 'under-performers' realise how much potential business they are losing? Praise for good service is hard to get, but unhappy customers are very quick to let others know of their dis-satisfaction.

Another positive from me, Arc certainly deliver and have such a wide product line now. Can only wish Ketan and the team all the best for the future. Mick

I have ordered stuff from Arc, and it's been here in my hand 4 days after pressing the button. This may not sound very exciting, except that I'm in Australia. Australia Post cannot get an ordinary letter from Melbourne to Adelaide in 4 days!!

I am not the best customer that ARC have had, in financial terms, but cannot fault the service from the Company. or anyone contacted there. The one and only problem was made FOR them BY Royal Mail.

When I even think of wanting something, the ARC catalogue is my first port of call.

Keep up the Good Work, Ketan and your staff!

                          Hello everyone reading this thread,

Wherever possible, we have been using Royal Mail 1st class for the past week for parcels weighing upto 2kg. This would have been split between 1st and 2nd pre the festive period. Everything else over 2 kg. upto 30kg has been shipped through Parcelforce next day delivery as standard policy.

For overseas customers, for small weight/value shipments, (very few) we use Royal Mail International Signed For service. For majority of our parcels sent to overseas destinations, we were using mainly Parcelforce and Fedex combination, pre the festive period. However, Parcelforce advised us of closure issues at Calais on 11th December, delays which in turn effected all European deliveries. So we switched all such shipments from there on to Fedex for European and world destinations. We will continue with Fedex for outside U.K., until the new year, by which time we are hopeful that Parcelforce issues will be resolved, and we will then spread the overseas load over these two service providers.

There may be occasions during this period when a customer may experience delays. We apologise for this delay, and we hope to resolve such issues. Next day deliveries are not guaranteed, and we hope to meet majority of expectations.

The team and I at ARC are grateful for the business, help and support from members of this forum. We are aware that you have a choice in your buying habit or preference, so we thank you for choosing to purchase from us.

Over this year, we may have offended some people in some way. If you happen to be a person to whom this applies, and if you are reading this thread, please accept our apology. Life is too short…

                          Merry Christmas to all.

                          Ketan at ARC.

                            Hey Mark,

Presently happy where we are, and grateful for what we have, thank you. smiley

Ian (our sales manager) would be happy to start up there, but then we would loose a valuable asset here.

But all is not lost. Depending on where a person is in the U.S., for example you in Ohio; if you placed an order by 9.30 am today morning – your time, thanks to Fedex, we are currently targeting deliveries into the U.S., for between one to two working days by 12 noon U.S. time, for all orders below 2kg. (4.40 pounds). Many times we are seeing 'missed delivery' notifications, because our U.S. customers are not expecting next day or two working days deliveries into U.S. and Canada!… We think this service from Fedex is great.

Nice to see my post prompted so many other complimentary views, how do you get time to actually get on with your business Ketan responding to all these accolades!

Wishing you all there up in Leicester a very happy Christmas and an excellent and well deserved new year.

Life is indeed to short, and some probably need to remember that.

On that subject, it cannot have been easy dealing with the circumstances surrounding JS's sad passing, and you dealt with that with great dignity and understanding, so hats off to you.

                                Merry Christmas to you too.
