evening all

The speed select switch on my warco gh1440 has failed but looking at the wires on the switch I'm confused as why the last set of switch contacts 4th pole?, has got wires from the top set of contacts looping over and can't see why there required can anyone shed any light in this, it is ran off an inverter to the switch with then obviously selects which three phases to power up for whichever speed is required see pic any help appreciated

Richard,

May switch a contactor in/out that is required for the speed change, perhaps someone has a schematic to confirm their use.

Have a look on hobbymachinist.com ,there was a lot of talk about the Warco GH1440 earlier this year.
