Thanks Tim, have a few old handlebars around here, as you say a bit on the thick side.
Trying to find a bit of 7/8" x 20g tube, Have an old mop handle, but the wall is too thin, and outside diameter a bit of a loose fit.
The outside diameter is 7/8" (.875" ) and the lead screw is .750" With wall of .036" have a clearance of .053" so have .0265" clearance around the leadscrew.
Been searching to see if it matches a Reynolds size but have not found anything yet.
I would have thought Myfords bought an off the shelf standard size, as it looks like a length of tubing with no machining marks.
