      I purchased a digital download but the website won't allow the download to happen! Keeps coming up with a message saying there is an error occuring. Have already sent an email yesterday regarding it, but as yet, no response! Any ideas!!! (apart from not purchasing digital downloads).

            Digital Download of the Build article on Evening Star. As yet, after multiple emails to MyHobbyStore, no response and am still getting download error. My email with them is different to the one I use here.

            Have never had a problem with downloads before, but have had problems getting a response from MyHobbyStore staff.

              I must thank Diane, the Magazine's Editor for trying to get something done within her organisation to allow me to obtain what I purchased. Unfortunately, not even an Editor can get the other staff to do their ruddy job!!! Luckily I made the purchase through Paypal, through which I am now putting a claim through to regain my money. An email I received from Kerry Ann Wilkinson ('Customer Services' – Yeah Right!!!) saying that it was not her department to deal with such matters. This will be the last time I purchase anything through these ratbags. I was going to purchase a paper magazine subscription but now there is not a chance in hell.

                The Subscriptions are purchesed through a different company (MyTimeMedia), while the drawings were through MyHobbyStore.

                You should have no problems with the subscription.

                  Ha! Nobody else in the world has ever gotten the IT department to do something for them, why should editors be any different? Rank means nowt to the pointy heads.

                        They are arranging for me to have access to the file so I can forward it to you.

                        In the meantime, they are trying to find why it can't be downloaded direct.

                        It might be too large and is timing out.

                        If It won't zip up small enough to email I will put it onto a website for you to download.

                          Kerry Ann Wilkinson does not work for customer service or even for MyHobbyStore.

                          She works for the subscription company and has no way of helping you.

                          You emailed the wrong person.

                              The paypal reclaim won't become valid until something like 45 days of non-performance

                              You were a wee bit hasty about things and should have just waited a few days for it to get sorted out

                                I was assured by Customer Services, whom I emailed direct and from whom I got an answer straightaway, that this problem had been sorted out directly with John Fox 3.

                                  Sorry Diane. Customer Services have done bugger all. I have to thank David Clark for offering his help to download it. Trying to get any response from 'Customer Service' is like trying to talk to Amazon!

                                  To Ady1, the idea of immediate downloads is so you can download it at the time, otherwise you might as well send for a printed copy! I have been ripped off before in this way, so no, I don't think it is too hasty!!!!

                                    To get through to customer services you have to know how to bypass the system and make it work for you.

                                        Bang your head on a brick wall and keep doing it until you get results.

                                        Do not accept no and make sure what is promised is done and keep worrying them until they do it.

                                        Like a dog with a bone.

                                        They do mean well but don't understand things like "That issue is out of stock, we will extend your subscription by one issue." does not complete a collection of magazines from issue one.

                                          A big thank you to David for helping me get my file!!!! It is just a shame that it had to go to such extreme lengths to obtain it. It shouldn't have to be up to the Moderator to hassle the system to get results. Digital downloads have worked in the past, so there should be a contact in the system that can sort the problem, after all, the company is offering digital downloads, it should have a contact to consult if there is a problem.
