Whilst I'd allways want to keep machines as makers intended I would just put a modern socket and plug on it..

how many ways does it need?

Thanks for the reply the head has 4 wires i need to find a plug 1 to keep things original and 2 i have exactly the same machine at my works so i can use the head at either place or i would just hard wire it.

Try a search for Niphan Plugs,

Looks very similar to that make, we used to find them on equipment In factories as well.

Found a link hope it helps.

Agree with V8Eng that its almost certainly a Niphan connector. Old style sealed joint rough duty connector. Very, very expensive new these days. Far as I know you have to order direct from the maker. I suspect there is a minimum order charge and minimum quantity requirement too.

Might be worth asking Sorted Machine Sales **LINK** as they sometimes have second hand parts.

Aerco have some prices here. The 4-way plug and socket are £69.03 and £74.16 ex-works, plus VAT. I think this question has been asked on the forum before but I can't find the answer. I'm probably not doing the search properly!

Might be worth a look on EBay once you have positively identified it.
