What breed of attachment? Genuine Bridgeport or aftermarket? When I got mine I was told to make sure that it was complete kit including shaft as "they aren't all the same".

No idea if this is actually the case or, if so, which ones are different

Hope you get to use yours. Mine has been sitting on the shelf for 12 years or so. Guy I got it from said it had never, to his knowledge, ever been used. Got to be pushing 30 or more years old by now.

            Clive.

You can guarantee that if you sell it on the very next day you will need it though.

How true, just three weeks ago I declined the offer of a free Deckle KF12 one to one copy mill. Space and thinking I would not use it more than once a year where the reasons. I now have four or five jobs where it would be a boon.

                  Hi Bob

The spindle drawbar is a standard part and is still available from Bridgeport but it is just a longer version of the standard drawbar and if you copy the standard drawbar but measure the depth of the spindle with a piece of bar less than the 7/16 UNF thread you could make your own but using a high tensile piece of material. for the cross spindle drawbar you can just use a 7/16 UNF cap screw of the correct length.

I have one of the imported ones complete with shaft. I should be in the workshop on Monday so could measure it up.

                      David.

Did you get time to look at the shaft David?

Hi Bob, I hope David finds what you need as no details in my manual.
