Hi all, newbie here.

I might purchase a boxford pd8 I've seen. Is it possible to obtain replacement parts for it should the need arise? For instance if the chuck doesn't run true etc.?

I would be purchasing unseen in the flesh so to speak.

HI again. I should add the Boxford drill looks to be from the 1970's.

Hi DC31k, I posted here first because there was a fair bit of interest in the drill and I wanted to snap it up. I tried ringing Boxford but there was no answer initially but eventually I got through to a guy in parts department who directed me through their website and it looks like parts availability shouldn't be a problem which is a bit of a relief.

I see there is someone on this site who has done some restoration work on his Boxford drill so if the drill I receive does need some remedial work I can hopefully get some advice from here.

I'm looking forward to using a good quality drill made here rather than a cheaper made chinese drill.
