Wooruff cutter speed

Are woodruff cutters generally run at slower speeds than endmills of a similar size ? I have rarely used these cutters and when i did it was a long time ago.

Hi Ronan,

like you I just use a speed similar to an end-mill of same size. Found this on the net, but I guess that table is for carbide cutters. Here's another one that seems to be for HSS (check page 20).
