Warco WM 290V LATHE

Could anyone who has actually purchased a Warco WM 290V LATHE in the last year PM me with their honest thoughts & experiences of this machine, please do not post on the open forum as I'm not interested in starting a bun fight about Warco it self,whether good or bad just honest statements from WM 290V LATHE owners.

I'm close to puling the trigger on one of these but owner feed back would be most helpful!

I only have the WM250V-F myself & that is doing me just fine; but looking at the WM290V at Warcos web site, it's more upmarket model with ac inverter drive & 2 axis DRO, but pricey, would like one mesel' but out of my range. IIRC a member called Thor has an earlier 290V, drop him a pm.

I doubt you'll regret it. I have a WM250V which has an inverter and powered crossfeed, but not the separate feedshaft like the 290. I've been running it for nearly 4 years and I like it a lot.
