Does anyone happen to have a spare casting for the pedestal (part number 60478) that supports the outer crank bearing please.
I have a set of castings for this engine but that one is missing.

I know I can buy one from Stuarts, or even just fabricate one, but I thought I would ask first.

      Thanks

I think I have about 3 but not sure how I came about them all.

I know one is from the victoria where I set the flywheel into the base and made a short pedestal. I also cut my beam engine bed plate down to 1″ and did the same as the victoria but that one is long lost.

One thing I would suggest is ditching the 2BA fixings as they look way too chunky particularly with standard heads. Small hex 3BA or 4BA with standard looks a lot better. Or go metric with small hex in which case M4 and M2.5 to replace the many 7BA

          Hi Jason

The one I need should be capable of being machined to 3.05″ tall to match my main bedplate height.
If you have a spare, I would be interested if you want to part with it.

I am just on with modelling this up in Solidworks 3D CAD, and have come to the same conclusion about the fasteners being way too big everywhere.
