20210515_203808.jpgI got this steady from a closing down sale after the owner died none of the workers knew what machine it was off of so they threw it in the skip. They had two lathes in the workshop, a 15 inch harrison and a capstan lathe (possibly ward)

Does anyone know what lathe it is from?

From what limited pictures of Harrison steadies this does not appear to be one as they seam a lot "lighter".20210515_203900.jpg

Hi Sean, the Colchester Triumph has a 7-1/2" centre height I believe, so it might fit one of them.

          Regards Nick.

The paint colour might be a clue. The vee groove is at the rear of the lathe bed, it looks too small for a 15" Harrison.

By the way, welcome to the forum.

Thanks, the colour is very like dsg, but isn't the normal dsg style with flat quills
