I have been cleaning-up a CS6 which I bought a while ago

… a very fine stand, with a decent amount of ‘heft’ to it, made by Sigma Controls and Instruments Limited [in Letchworth, Hertfordshire].

so I am wondering if anyone is familiar with the range of ‘options’ that were available.

It’s not important, because the one I have will do nicely … I am just intrigued.

Oops ! … my mistake … Here’s the label on mine:

So its manufacturer is Herbert Controls and Instruments Ltd.

… which might place it in a timeline.
