I have just heard the sad news that Roy Darlington passed away peacefully on Monday.

I had the privilege of meeting Roy a few times on the Stirling Engine Society stand at exhibitions. Anyone else who met him will agree he was a wonderful chap whose enthusiasm and ingenuity were reflected by the range of his models.

Rest in peace, Roy.

Yes, sad news indeed.

He was a great teacher and friend, who will be greatly missed.

Rest in piece, Roy.

Can only agree wholeheartedly with all the appreciations of Roy. A good engineer, and a splendidly friendly man.
