I recently purchased a T-Nut link belt for motor to countershaft on my old Super 7 as I read that it reduces vibration etc.

Now fitted it has made the lathe much quieter and almost totally vibration free at all speed settings.
However, with this belting in place on the outside pulley (high speed) the "door" cannot be closed as the belting over the pulley is wider than the inside of the door / door-frame castings at the lower end. It closes perfectly with a standard V belt or with the T-nut belt on the smaller inside pulley. I have juggled the motor position but cannot resolve the problem.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and what did you do to resolve it?
