Hello all. Please can you help me stop these pop ups coming up on my Samsung phone, Its getting worse with now obscene photos and advertising taking over what web pages I look at. It has become embarrassing if someone is with me when this happens, if I had ever looked at the crap in the past then I could understand stand how this has infected my phone but I'm more interested in a 2mm die than a pair of breasts.

I ceased using my smartphone for web stuff, too much garbage

Got a small tablet with Win8, omg it's just so… NORMAL to use

There must be something out there that normalises smartphones, hope someone in here knows

edit: mine is a samsung too

It must be Android, so we need a windows smartphone

Microsoft gave up on phones 2 or 3 years back.

You could take the nuclear option of a factory re-set. This will almost certainly do the trick but will also delete all of your data, 'phone-book etc.

It must be Android as has been said here as my computer is fine, I have McAfee antivirus on all my devices and this can't stop it. I will just have to put up with it and enjoy breasts instead of a 2mm die.

If it is a Galaxy S10 follow these instructions. Other Samsungs should be similar.

                  1. Start the Internet app.
                  2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the screen.
                  3. In the pop-up window, tap "Settings."
                  4. Tap "Sites and downloads."
                  5. Turn on "Block pop-ups" by swiping the button to the right.

                  IHTH regards

I use VLC Media Player (although not on Android) and it seems to play just about everything.

Thanks all, my phone is a J4 model different way of getting rid of the pop-ups on the S10 but with the advice I've done it ,no more breasts. I shut the phone down for a short time and now the videos are back so hopefully that to is fixed.

You could also try using DuckDuckGo instead of Chrome.

I had a peek on the bay and windows phones are only about 20 quid now….

If they're any good then maybe just maybe…
