PM research mill engine any one built one ??

Hi I am thinking about getting a PM research mill engine as a machined kit.

I have a PM research boiler which I love but need a second engine I would appreciate any advice do these little run ok if you have built one I would like too hear from you.

Sorry, I haven't built their mill engine, but I did build their #8 V twin from the machined kit – it all went together very easily and runs well on air. My only real 'gripe' is the fact that they use those horrible domed cheesehead screws with US threads, so not easy to substitute something better looking.

I built their horizontal engine which was rewarding to make. I changed all the fixings for those more suitable for this sort of engine.
Only had it running on air but lovely slow tickover (7 inch flywheel). I used coffee shop stirring sticks for the cylinder lagging which I think turned out well.
Made on my ML7

Well Folks I have ordered my number 3 PM research machined mill engine today from Forest- Classic's looking forward to getting started making it so wish me luck hope to run it with my Chiltern models mill engine on steam with my PM research boiler.
