On the steam chest cover (ME4569 p.424 fig9) the dimensions for the holes add up to 1 3/4" but the plate is only 1 1/2 long. Should the 3/8" measurement be from the side of the plate and not from the 1/8" measurement.

Yes dim should be from the side, same as the valve chest. It was OK on the hand drawn version just slipped through the net on the redrawn mag version
