      have a 5 inch loco and one of the driving wheel is showing sines of movement

      On the axial it’s been quartered with 3 set screws which is the best way to refit it

          Probably using a a suitable grade of loctite to suit the gap. Choose one with a slow setting time so you can get the quartering right.

          Google "Loctite selection guide", the pdf that shoudl come first is very useful. Slow curing 640 retainer is probably a good place to start, it should give you plenty of time to set the quartering and nip up the set screws.
